Yes, I took my 9 year old out to a bar. Well, kinda. Applebee's really isn't a bar, but there was a party atmosphere kickin' last night like you wouldn't believe.
It's important to get away with each kid sometimes. Nathan's the oldest, and sometimes he feels pretty left out. We hadn't had one-on-one time in a long while, and Applebee's is his favorite restaurant (thank you, Aunt Heather). We sat down, had some laughs and talked about his latest video game project. Wow, that kid can talk. And talk. And Talk. :D Have to love that.
