Wildcam event tonight and tomorrow

Thought someone might be interested....

=============================================

Dear WildCam Fan,

As many of you know, WildCam Africa launched its 2007 season
earlier this month. We have already witnessed sightings of a
lioness and her multiple cubs, as well as Fattie the crocodile
going after birds on the shore.

To celebrate the return of WildCam Africa, please join us online
for our “Third Season Celebration of WildCam Africa.”
This online event will take place Tuesday, August 21, 2007,
at 8:00 PM EST.

A sneak preview of tomorrow’s festivities...
--Refreshment Buffet: Enjoy virtual refreshments and chat about Pete's Pond.
--Your Turn Story Circle: Take our story starter to the next step then give
way to the next author and see where the story leads.
--Game Challenge: Play the scavenger hunt game, Botswana Brain Boggle.
Winning participants receive a free gift from the National Geographic Online Store.

As one WildCam season begins, another ends. Your WildCam
Grizzlies 2007 program has come to an early close. The repeater
on Augustine Volcano has been disabled by the high winds that
have been blowing out there for the last two days. We are
turning off the camera only a few days early, as we had plans to
close the 2007 season later this week.

To celebrate the extraordinary bears of McNeil River Falls, join
the Pratt Museum Staff and National Geographic for an online
conversation to reflect on the 2007 season:

Hope to see you online this Tuesday and Wednesday!

Happy WildCam watching,
