It's been awhile

The last couple of weeks have flown by so fast. Here we are at the start of school. All our kids' friends are headed back to class, and though I know that they are better off not caught up in that system, I know we're going to have an adjustment period.

However, DS1 is in football ($70 this year for FLAG football!) and DD is in dance. They'll have opportunities to meet friends who share their interests. They'll also have game days, and after school and weekends to meet up with their buddies. It's just kind of sad though, and I have to admit, I'll miss the little buggers too.
